The Falls Church Anglican Music

"A Thousand Amens: Live Worship with The Falls Church Anglican" was released on Sunday, July 22nd, 2012. In the months since then, we have been so blessed and encouraged by the response of all who have heard it. We wanted to share a few of the comments here for you to enjoy:

“We had our van worked on the past couple of days by a man that we used to go to church with. When I picked it up from him yesterday, he said that he'd listened to the Falls Church CD and really enjoyed it. He said he'd heard there was an off-shoot of that church here and did I know anything about it? :) I found their website last night and am going to pass it on to him.”

"The first time I listened to it, I was moved to tears--and that's unusual for me.  It's the combination of music and words and the context in which they were sung--celebrating the sufficiency of Christ in the midst of great loss--that touched my heart in a deep way.  It was truly a very special time of worship for me!  I was sitting in our den one morning and planned to listen to a couple of the songs, but ended up listening to the whole CD and worshipping the Lord, in tears.  The same thing happened the next time I listened to it.  So, I don't plan to listen to it while driving the car! ;)"

"I can't tell you how much I love the entire album... I had to drive a lot last week and popped it into the CD player.  As soon as I got home I went to the website and downloaded all the chords. The next day I listened to the album again... I really like Behold Our God, Praise My Soul The King Of Heaven and, especially, All to Us. All the other songs are great as well. The pipe organ is also so cool.  Give my thanks to Jamie Brown for putting it all together and writing some good songs.  However, what I really liked was the written introduction on page 3.  It beautifully described that the Holy, Invisble, Christian Church is not about walls but totally about Jesus Christ our Savior.  May our God continue to bless your congregation."

"We have been so blessed by the worship CD.  We cranked it on several road trips this summer and now, as we are on the cusp of some difficult decisions, we are uplifted by it—we ARE more than conquerers through Him!"

"I just can't express how much this has blessed me. I cry every time I play it. That wonderful, transcendent pipe organ on the last verse, ‘You're all to us’! Amen!"

"We thank God… for that wonderful worship recorded on the CD. It transports my mind and heart heavenward on the commute to and from DC. We bought 16 and are now down to 1! Thank you… It is superb music and wonderfully understandable, meaningful lyrics. We are blessed."

"Just want to say, the worship CD has now carried me to and from work since Monday morning. What a ride! I was even grateful for one final unexpected construction zone yesterday morning so I could hear the final “amen” one more time. I read the credits thoroughly and applaud each of you for the gift you have given to us and more importantly to our gracious God.  I believe these songs will be background to many more prayers being lifted up to His Holy throne of grace. He will faithfully inhabit those prayers and we will grow in the fullness of Christ more and more."

I can't tell you how much I love the entire album.  It reminds me of a cross between Michael W. Smith, Darlene Zuetsch, Hillsong and Hillsong United.  I had to drive to the GJ last week and popped it into the CD player.  As soon as I got home I went to the website and downloaded all the chords.  The next day I listened to the album again when I was on the Coaster on my IPOD.  I really like Behold Our God, Praise My Soul The King Of Heaven and, especially, All to Us (written by Chris Tomlin/Matt Redman).  All the other songs are great as well.  The pipe organ is also so cool.  Give my thanks to Jamie Brown for putting it all together and writing some good songs.  However, what I really liked was the written introduction on page 3.  It beautifully described that the Holy, Invisable, Christian Church is not about walls but totally about Jesus Christ our Savior.  May our God continue to bless your congreagation.
